The repeater that is being used for GB7CW is a Motorola DR3000. The antenna is a 4 bay folded dipole stack with the folded dipoles mounted in an Omni-Directional Pattern. The antenna is mounted on-top of a 15ft pole on the side of the communications room and the feeder going to the antenna is Andrews LDF4-50A.

The internet connection at the site, is a 5.8Ghz dedicated wireless link direct to the repeater.

The repeater runs from a 230v source in normal operation and on mains supply failure the power will come from an onsite 24v full rack cabinet bank of batteries until the 15kva generator kicks in and the power returned to 230v. A 23db pre-amplifier is installed on the RX line thanks to a generous donation.

If you would like to donate please click the Donation button too the right or email one of the team. Thank You
